A temporary harassment order against The Flash<\/a><\/em><\/strong> actor Ezra Miller<\/a><\/strong> expired in Massachusetts on Friday after a court hearing, reports stated.<\/p>\n

The protective order was brought against Miller by a mother who had accused Miller of acting inappropriately<\/a> around her 12-year-old non-binary child. The accusations were published in The Daily Beast<\/em> last year amid a flurry of other allegations (and arrests) involving the actor.<\/p>\n

In a statement<\/a> posted on Instagram, Miller, who also identifies as non-binary, said they were \u201cunjustly and directly targeted\u201d by an individual with a history of \u201cmanipulative and destructive actions.\u201d<\/p>\n

They wrote that protective orders are meant to safeguard families and children and not to be \u201cused as weapons by those seeking attention or fleeting tabloid fame or some sort of personal vengeance.\u201d<\/p>\n

They also asked members of the media \u201cwho have recklessly spread false claims\u201d to hold themselves to \u201ca higher standard\u2019 instead of \u201cchasing clicks.\u201d<\/p>\n

In their statement, the actor clarified that very few people stayed with them during their tough times. The actor stated that they have been doing better to preserve their own wellness and are trying to reverse the collateral damage done to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want everyone to know that I am continuing to do my best to preserve my own wellness and what I can to reverse the collateral damage this ordeal has brought upon me and those close to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFinally, to all you many beings in this world who have had the enormous courage to see me through it all and make it here with me \u2013 I will spend a long time trying to explain to you what it has meant to have your support. You have my undying gratitude, admiration, and love.\u201d<\/p>\n
