The 45-year-old singer was rushed to hospital in April after experiencing stroke-like symptoms, but doctors later identified a neurological issue linked to stress affecting signals to her face.<\/p>\n
However, Kerry is to seek further medical advice soon, because she is “not feeling 100 per cent”, and has been “exhausted” of late. <\/p>\n
Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: “I\u2019ve just booked myself a full body MOT with my friends at Pall Mall Medical, as I\u2019m not feeling 100 per cent right now.<\/p>\n
“My speech still isn\u2019t quite right and I\u2019m exhausted.”<\/p>\n
\nKerry – who has daughter Molly, 25, and Lilly-Sue McFadden, 23, with her ex Brian McFadden; daughter Heidi, 19, and son Maxwell, 18, with ex Mark Croft; and daughter Dylan-Jorge, 12, with her late ex-husband, George Kay – is to have a personal check-up, because she doesn’t “look after [herself] properly”. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: “The problem is, I never put myself first. I\u2019m either on tour, or something\u2019s happening with the kids that needs attention.<\/p>\n
\n“I know I don\u2019t look after myself properly, so I\u2019m getting my bloods done, a smear test, stool sample, the full works. <\/p>\n
\n“I take a lot of vitamins, thanks to the wonderful Dr Andre from the Oxford Natural Clinic, but while you can always look amazing on the outside, it\u2019s what\u2019s inside that\u2019s important.”<\/p>\n
\nIn April, Kerry told how she was looking and talking “differently” following a suspected stroke. <\/p>\n
\nShe wrote at the time: “I know I’m talking differently and I know my face looks different after my suspected stroke, but it’s actually loads better. It comes and goes. It is what it is.”<\/p>\n
\nKerry tries not to think about her suspected stroke because she suffers from “severe” health anxiety, which can lead her to “truly panic” if she reads comments about her body. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: “I’ve just got to try and not think about it, because I’m the worst hypochondriac in the world. It’s awful for my family, I think they’re all fed up and sick of me at this point.<\/p>\n
\n“I have severe health anxiety, so when I start reading all the comments and I start learning all these new things that could be wrong, it makes me truly panic.”<\/p>\n
