\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jason Momoa<\/strong><\/a> will no longer be in the Helldivers<\/em> film.<\/p>\n The 46-year-old DC star has exited the project, which is an adaptation of the bestselling game franchise from Arrowhead Game Studios.<\/p>\n According to The Wrap<\/a>, the movie is still on track for production, with Justin Lin<\/strong> attached to direct. It is currently slated for a November 10, 2027 theatrical release courtesy of Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.<\/p>\n According to the official synopsis, Helldivers 2<\/em> is \u201ca hugely popular game built on teamwork, camaraderie, humor and exhilarating action. The story centers on an elite unit of soldiers \u2014 known as Helldivers \u2014 who must battle alien creatures threatening to destroy the fictional planet of Super Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n No reason has been listed as to why Jason<\/strong> exited the project, but Sony is in search of a new star.<\/p>\n Jason<\/strong> has several big projects coming up, though most of them have already finished filming, like this year\u2019s Dune: Part Three<\/em> and Supergirl<\/em>.
