Heather Dubrow has a trans son. <em>Vanderpump Rules<\/em> debuted Billie Lee, a trans woman, back in 2017. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u2018RHOC\u2019 Star Heather Dubrow SHARES On How Moving Schools Has Helped Her LGBTQ Children | E!  News\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sdJyvPSlgNQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>While trans Housewives could be in the franchise\u2019s future, fans hoping for men \u2014 be they trans or cisgender \u2014 should probably not expect to have their wishes granted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, I\u2019ve talked about this, but, in an early season of \u2018Jersey\u2019 there was a conversation about maybe casting\u201d a man, Andy recalled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCaroline and Dina [Manzo] have a gay brother [Jaime Laurita], and there was, like, a moment where we were flirting with that idea,\u201d he described.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, look, I think that in terms of casting a gay guy on the show,\u201d Andy reasoned, \u201cthis is a show about women and celebrating women, so, I think we leave it there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That makes sense. There have been shows that are unofficially <em>what if Housewives but gay men<\/em>, with varying levels of success.
