Below Deck Mediterranean<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Captain Sandy Yawn<\/strong><\/a> revealed how worried viewers should be about her future on the show after celebrating 15 seasons on screen.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Below Deck,, I want to do that for the rest of my life \u2014 as long as they have me,\u201d Sandy gushed exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Sandy also expressed interest in branching out, adding, \u201cI\u2019d like to do another show \u2014 like Traitors \u2014 or another Bravo crossover show would be cool. Or we could have a crossover on our vessel like Below Deck Down Under had.\u201d<\/p>\n

The captain has been at the helm of the Below Deck<\/em> spinoff<\/a> ever since season 2 premiered in 2017. Looking back at her time on the show, Sandy is excited about what comes next.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOver the years, Below Deck fans have become familiar with many captains \u2014 and some made more memorable impressions than others. Below Deck, which premiered in 2013, explored the glamorous world of yachting and the not as beautiful behind-the-scenes situations that the crew must handle. The first season introduced viewers to Captain Lee Rosbach and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t feel like 10 years. But when I look in the mirror and I\u2019m like, \u2018It\u2019s been 10 years,’\u201d Sandy quipped. \u201cI\u2019d really cool because to get to be the captain on the same show for 10 years is incredible. I\u2019m so grateful that I get asked back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandy pointed out the importance of \u201chaving a consistent crew\u201d she loves as much.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get to see the growth from them over the years,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd reflecting back on all the charters I\u2019ve done within the Below Deck franchise has been really awesome. Even when I took over Captain Lee [Rosbach]\u2019s show for a bit. Al; those experiences mean something to me \u2014 and has through the years just made me a better captain.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cThe practice of pausing and then drawing from experience and making decisions based on my past experiences [has been a big lesson]. I think is something that was a big lesson for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bravo\u2019s Below Deck<\/em> franchise has been a reliably dramatic and fun port in a reality TV storm since its 2013 debut. When Below Deck Mediterranean<\/em> returns to Bravo for season 11 on Monday, June 8, in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Sandy will be joined by familiar faces including Aesha Scott, Joe Bradley <\/strong>and Nathan Gallagher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOver the years, Bravo viewers have seen Below Deck Mediterranean cast members come and go \u2014 but not before they brought the drama to the small screen. The spinoff series, which premiered in 2016, seemingly found a permanent crew member in chief stew Hannah Ferrier. The Australia native appeared in five seasons of the hit [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Season 11 is also a season first with its first plot line involving bosun Nathan splitting his time between work on the water and time on land with partner Gael Cameron<\/strong> and their new baby.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that we were able to do that for him was great,\u201d Sandy noted. \u201cEvery time I saw Nathan, he seemed very excited to see his family, but when he would come back, he was very tired!\u201d<\/p>\n

Aesha had to address her own work-life balance issues, catering to guest demands while planning her wedding.<\/p>\n
