The former View<\/em> cohost first shared her transformation in a May 25 Substack post<\/a>, admitting that she initially felt the procedure \u201cwas a betrayal. Of feminism. Of aging. Of our team of women worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\nHowever, since going under the knife in January, O\u2019Donnell said she wants to be open and honest about the work she\u2019s had done.<\/p>\n
\u201cAuthenticity is the goal in these days and times, and people are lying about everything all day to the American public. It\u2019s very depressing to me and unsettling, and I think all that matters is truth and love,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd so, I wanted to be truthful and say all the complicated feelings I had about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI just felt it was better to be truthful than not, and I didn\u2019t want some tabloid to go, \u2018Gotcha!\u2019\u201d the comedian went on. \u201cI just wanted to say, \u2018Here\u2019s what I did, here\u2019s the doctor\u2026\u2019 and if you want to, it\u2019s very expensive.
