Love Island USA<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Bryce Alakai Dettlof<\/strong> made a surprising revelation regarding his appearance<\/a> in the newest episode of the show.<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, June 7, episode, Trinity Tatum<\/strong> asked Bryce if he had \u201can ugly face growing up.\u201d Bryce surprised her \u2014 and Us<\/em> \u2014 by opening up about how he dealt with quite the opposite.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I looked like a girl,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it is funny because all the girls liked me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryce shared a specific story from his childhood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember in middle school, I was in 7th grade and there was a girl in 8th grade who was the hottest girl in all the school,\u201d he added. \u201cShe came up to me and told me I was the cutest guy ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cAll the guys hated me and started bullying me for it. All the guys used to bully me because they thought I was better looking.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryce isn\u2019t the only one<\/a> to share a surprising story in the villa. Earlier in the week, the Islanders had to read out sex facts and figure out which of them it was about. One of the revelations was that an Islander slept with someone in their 50s.<\/p>\n

Gabriel\u2019s sexual history was then joked about<\/a> when narrator Iain Stirling<\/strong> compared him to a \u201creverse Leonardo DiCaprio\u201d due to the actor\u2019s dating history. In addition to Gabriel and Bryce, season 8 of Love Island USA<\/em> features Aniya Harvey, Beatriz Hatz, Bryce Alakai Dettloff, KC Chandler, Mackenzie \u201cKenzie\u201d Annis, Melanie Moreno, Sincere Rhea, Sean Reifel, Trinity, Corbin Mims, Kayda Bosse<\/strong> and Zach Georgiou<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Peacock show was also meant to feature Vasana Montgomery<\/strong><\/a>, who was cut from season 8 of Love Island USA<\/em> after resurfaced social media posts showed her using a slur. Vasana was removed from the show before she got a chance to enter the villa. Both clips were leaked from her private social media, which meant producers weren\u2019t privy to the posts while casting the season.<\/p>\n
