\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Nithya Raman<\/strong><\/a> has moved ahead of Spencer Pratt<\/strong><\/a> in the race for Los Angeles Mayor. <\/p>\n The two candidates are currently in close running to go head-to-head with incumbent mayor Karen Bass<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n While Spencer<\/strong> previously held a lead of Nithya<\/strong>, as more votes are counted, she has taken a lead. <\/p>\n According to Los Angeles Times<\/a><\/em>, Nithya<\/strong> has moved up to 27.1% of the votes, while Spencer<\/strong> moves to 26.7%.<\/p>\n Whoever comes out on top will go up against Karen Bass<\/strong> in the November runoff election to find out will be the next mayor of Los Angeles. <\/p>\n Mail-in ballots postmarked June 2nd will continue to be accepted through Tuesday (June 9), with final election results being sealed July 6th.<\/p>\n On Sunday (June 7), Spencer<\/strong> took to Twitter\/X<\/a> to react to the continued count of votes. <\/p>\n \u201cRemember everyone\u2026we are still in the lead, and we\u2019ve got allllllll the way til July 6th to keep counting. They\u2019re not the only ones who know where to find votes,\u201d he wrote midday. <\/p>\n Later in the day, he reposted a Fox reporter noting that Pratt<\/strong> led Raman<\/strong> by about 40,000 votes on election night, but she now has a swing of more than 43,000.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2018A net swing of more than 43,000 votes since Tuesday..\u2019 43,000, huh? Where have I seen that number before\u2026? Probably nothing,\u201d he wrote, along with a shrugging emoji. <\/p>\n Spencer<\/strong> also added a screenshot of an article about the LA homeless population, something he has talked about heavily during his campaign. The screenshot highlights, \u201c43,699 people experience homelessness on any given night in the City of Los Angeles.\u201d <\/p>\n The latest election results comes after Donald Trump<\/strong>, who shared his support<\/a> for Spencer<\/strong>, stormed out of an interview where he once again touted rigged elections.
