Former Bachelorette Rachel Recchia<\/strong><\/a> is getting candid about her breast reduction journey<\/a> nearly two years after undergoing the secondary procedure.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s talk about my girls a little,\u201d Recchia began a Saturday, June 6, TikTok<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m in Africa currently. I missed so many comments on my last video so I\u2019ll try to answer as many as I can before I have to go. Also, I started out \u2014 I was like, three over a triple D. But they were like no volume on top, low.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recchia explained that she paid for the procedure out of pocket because she had to \u201cjump through so many hoops\u201d with her insurance company.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey want you to get on prescription strength tylenol and they want you have to physical therapy and I was like, \u2018I really just don\u2019t have time.\u2019 So cost wise, it depends. I got it done in Beverly Hills, so obviously it\u2019s going to be a little bit more on the expensive side,\u201d she said. \u201cBut it was so worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recchia shared that she has an \u201canchor scar\u201d and also underwent \u201cbilateral lipo,\u201d explaining that it \u201ctakes out everything, kind of like armpit and side.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the most part, I think I was down for like 2 weeks<\/a>. And then, I felt great. The one thing I will definitely recommend is as soon as I got my bandages off, I put silicone scar tape over the cuts,\u201d she said, explaining that she \u201cknew the second they started to heal\u201d and \u201cdrop a little\u201d that they were \u201ca little larger\u201d than she wanted.<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI went in for a check up and I told him, I was like, \u2018I would still love more off, what do you think?\u2019 He told me that he thought I could still get another one if I wanted more off. Second time around was so much easier. I think my recovery was maybe a week. First two days I felt groggy and then I was just taped up and I was ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recchia went on to answer a question about her scar, pulling down her white tank top to show a faded line underneath her armpit. \u201cMy scars are literally white,\u201d she said. \u201cCan barely see anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
