Kit Harington<\/strong><\/a> admitted it was \u201cgross\u201d to film sex scenes with Sophie Turner<\/strong><\/a> for their horror movie The Dreadful<\/em> given their past on Game of Thrones<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was weird,\u201d Harington, 39, confessed in a recent interview with fellow Game of Thrones<\/em> star Peter Dinklage<\/strong> for CNN\u2019s Actors on Actors<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harington and Turner, 30, essentially grew up together on the set of Game of Thrones<\/em>, in which they played Jon Snow and Sansa Stark, respectively. For most of the show\u2019s run, Jon and Sansa believed they were siblings before it came out that they were actually first cousins.<\/p>\n

Still, the pair\u2019s bond on and off the Game of Thrones<\/em> set made it awkward when Turner asked Harington to play her lover in The Dreadful<\/em>. (Turner produced and starred in the gothic horror film, in which Harington portrayed a sinister stranger who reemerged in the lives of Anne and her mother-in-law Morwen.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFor Sophie Turner, Game of Thrones\u00a0wasn\u2019t just a job \u2014 it was an education. The British actress, 29, was just 13 years old when she was cast as Sansa Stark on the hit HBO fantasy drama, so naturally she learned a lot of life lessons on set, including, she jokes, \u201cmore than enough\u201d about sex. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cShe sent me the script and I said, \u2018Sophie, there\u2019s a lot of us getting it on,\u2019\u201d Harington revealed. \u201cShe hadn\u2019t seen that. She just said, \u2018Yeah, Kit would be good for this part.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harington initially had doubts about accepting the role in The Dreadful<\/em> because he\u2019s \u201cknown [Turner] since she was a child\u201d and considers her like \u201ca younger sister.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did it. It was gross but it was fine,\u201d he insisted. \u201cShe\u2019s an amazing actor. I know we all know that but she was a child when she [started on Game of Thrones<\/em>]. She is phenomenal!\u201d<\/p>\n

Turner revealed during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers<\/em><\/a> last year that she was equally horrified by the thought of shooting love scenes with Turner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d just got the script for this amazing gothic horror called The Dreadful<\/em>, and I was reading through all the characters,\u201d she explained to host Seth Meyers<\/strong>. \u201cAnd I\u2019m producing it, so the director was asking me, \u2018Who do you think?\u2019 And immediately, the first person I thought of was Kit.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on, \u201cSo, I sent the script to Kit, and he kind of sent me a message back going like, \u2018Yeah, I\u2019d love to, but this is going to be really f***ing weird, Soph.\u2019 And I was like, what is he talking about? Then I was reading it, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex scene.\u2019 And then I\u2019m like, oh shoot, that\u2019s my brother. But it\u2019s such a good script that he\u2019s like, \u2018We kind of have to do it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
