\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Danielle Fishel<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the uncertainty she faced after Boy Meets World<\/strong><\/a><\/em> came to an end.<\/p>\n In the new documentary Doc Meets World<\/em>, which premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Festival<\/em><\/strong>, the now 45-year-old actress reflected on finishing the beloved sitcom as a teenager and realizing she wasn\u2019t sure what came next professionally.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I finished\u00a0Boy Meets World<\/em>\u00a0in 1999, I had no idea where I would end up two years later, much less where I would end up 30 years later,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n Her co-star Rider Strong<\/strong> also shared that he felt he and Danielle<\/strong> \u201chad really drifted apart\u201d by the end of the show, and felt she was \u201cin a bit of a flux.\u201d<\/p>\n Rider<\/strong> added, \u201cI sort of felt like she was like the little sister I needed to move away from.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t feel like I knew how to act. It\u2019s like I knew how to be Topanga the way Michael<\/strong> liked,\u201d she said, likely referring to show creator Michael Jacobs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Danielle<\/strong>, who played Topanga Lawrence on the sitcom from 1993 to 2000, said she struggled to transition into life after the series wrapped.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t understand, like, \u2018No, now\u2019s the time when you\u2019re really supposed to be out auditioning all the time,’\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n According to Danielle<\/strong>, burnout played a major role in her decision to step away from acting opportunities at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cI was so burnt out,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t want to do it at all.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress also reflected on her experience during the show\u2019s later years, explaining that she wasn\u2019t feeling confident about herself or her work.<\/p>\n \u201cI just wasn\u2019t feeling good about myself on set. I don\u2019t think any of us felt like we were thriving with what we were doing,\u201d Danielle<\/strong> shared. \u201cAnd so I think had the set experience in those last couple of seasons been a different experience, maybe I would\u2019ve been more excited about it.
