\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Kerry Washington<\/strong><\/a> and Tony Goldwyn<\/strong><\/a> are taking a trip down memory lane!<\/p>\n The Scandal<\/strong><\/a><\/em> co-stars recently reunited for a new episode of Variety\u2019s \u201cActors on Actors\u201d series<\/a>, which was released on Saturday (June 6).<\/p>\n During their conversation, Kerry<\/strong>, 49, and Tony<\/strong>, 66, shared where they believe there characters, Olivia<\/strong> Pope and President Fitz Grant, are today.<\/p>\n \u201cPeople feel very strongly that they\u2019re in Vermont, making jam and all that,\u201d Kerry<\/strong> said. \u201cDo you feel that way?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI feel that Fitz and Olivia are together,\u201d Tony<\/strong> answered. \u201cI feel that what we had at the root of it was very real, and it\u2019s why we could never get away from it \u2014 as opposed to being something that was ultimately dysfunctional. I thought ultimately these two people were their answer to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n When Kerry<\/strong> asked if he thinks their characters are in couples therapy now, Tony<\/strong> responded, \u201cYes, regularly! Because they know that\u2019s what they have to do to survive. But I think Fitz spent some time in Vermont. He needed to get out of the toxic patterns.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDid he make jam on his own?\u201d Kerry<\/strong> asked as Tony<\/strong> replied, \u201cI think Olivia probably taught him how to make jam, but then when she ate his jam, she\u2019s like, \u2018Your jam sucks!’\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYour jam is terrible, Kerry<\/strong> quipped.<\/p>\n Throughout Scandal<\/em>\u2018s seven seasons, Olivia and Fitz had a very up and down relationship and in the series finale, it appeared as though they ended up together as they reunited on the National Mall and just lovingly said \u201cHi\u201d to each other.<\/p>\n During their new conversation, Kerry<\/strong> and Tony<\/strong> discussed their characters\u2019 ending.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat did you think about the ending?\u201d Kerry<\/strong> asked<\/p>\n \u201cI loved it,\u201d Tony<\/strong> answered.<\/p>\n Kerry<\/strong> agreed, saying, \u201cI did too. The \u2018Hi\u2019 in the street.
