The golf superstar, 50, is said to be continuing treatment at a specialist facility in Switzerland, where he is expected to remain until the end of June, but continuing to try to support Vanessa Trump following her breast cancer diagnosis, which she revealed last month.<\/p>\n
A source told PEOPLE: \u201cThe original plan was for Tiger to do three months in rehab, which should stay on target unless something major changes.<\/p>\n
“Tiger is doing the best he can with all of the pressure on him with healing and also the legal issues he faces in coming months. This has created a great deal of stress.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey talk and share their lives as they have been doing for the entire time they have been together.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cTiger is a caring family guy and supportive. And so is Vanessa, also a strong woman with a full plate every day of her life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd, Woods is still planning a golf return, with the insider explaining: “I don’t know when it will be or how he will do it, but Tiger is determined to return. He has to get his pain management going in the right direction and also be able to continue a fitness routine, which will help him do the best he can when seriously playing golf. This could be tough. But it\u2019s something he wants.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAccording to PEOPLE, sources close to the couple recently described their relationship as strong despite the pressures both are currently facing.<\/p>\n
\nOne source said: \u201c(They) are a solid couple who have been there for the other.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThey love each other and offering help when needed is an important part of their relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe insider added: \u201cIt has made them both stronger, although Vanessa is a strong woman to begin with.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnother source told the publication Tiger remained focused on improving his health following ongoing treatment.<\/p>\n
\nThe source said: \u201cHe wants to feel better and play golf.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe and Vanessa are close and share their lives. He needed to be with her and he was. They do what they can for the other in light of both of them having heavy schedules of responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n
