\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Nicholas Galitzine<\/strong><\/a> is reflecting on his career now that Masters of the Universe<\/em> is in theaters, and how he wants it to evolve.<\/p>\n The 30-year-old actor recently revealed the advice Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a> gave him before filming the upcoming fantasy blockbuster, in which Nicholas<\/strong>, 31, takes on the role of Adam Glenn\/He-Man.<\/p>\n \u201cI luckily had just worked with Hugh Jackman<\/strong> right before we started filming, and we talked a fair bit about the process,\u201d Nicholas<\/strong> shared with VMAN<\/a><\/em> in his new interview published on Friday (June 5).<\/p>\n Referencing Hugh<\/strong>\u2018s experience launching the X-Men<\/em> franchise, Nicholas<\/strong> explained, \u201cHe made a point to me that when he did the first\u00a0X-Men<\/em>, compared to the other iterations, it was such a steep learning curve for him, but once he did it, he had learned so much that it became easier.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Nicholas<\/strong> added that he hopes future installments of Masters of the Universe<\/em> would benefit from the same experience if the franchise continues.<\/p>\n The actor also addressed being labeled a \u201cheartthrob,\u201d saying he doesn\u2019t want a single description to define him.<\/p>\n \u201cAs monikers, those don\u2019t necessarily encapsulate what I want to do, who I am, and how I see myself,\u201d the Purple Hearts<\/em> star said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n He pointed to recent and upcoming projects featuring more morally complex characters, adding that he\u2019s focused on diversifying his work and exploring different types of roles in the years ahead.<\/p>\n \u201cEspecially in the last few years, I feel like I\u2019ve been able to gather more agency in my career. It\u2019s about diversifying the projects you do. I just wrapped a tiny little movie\u2014you can make this movie probably 100 times with\u00a0Masters of the Universe<\/em>\u2019s budget\u2013where I play morally gray characters. I did a lovely indie movie called\u00a0The 100 Nights of Hero<\/em>, where I play a morally gray character,\u201d Nicholas<\/strong> explained. <\/p>\n \u201cI have quite an exciting couple of years coming up where I feel the roles are extremely different, so who knows, maybe people will ascribe different monikers to those, but I\u2019m very happy being where I am at this moment in time, so I can\u2019t complain.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Nicholas<\/strong> will soon reprise his role as Prince Henry in Red, White & Royal Wedding<\/em>.
