\nJimmy said: \u201cI mean, he\u2019s still a very good looking man now but he was real hot when he was younger.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPerrie replied: \u201cYeah, it\u2019s because he was a bit of a bad boy, wasn\u2019t it?\u201d and Jimmy said: \u201cYeah, he was the bad boy! But looking back I don\u2019t think he was that much of a bad boy really.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPerrie went on: \u201cWell he was for a royal! Like drinking and partying and having a good old time that was a bit frowned upon.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPerrie\u2019s comments came after bandmate Jade Thirlwall previously revealed she “tried to catch a vibe” from Prince Harry but was left flustered when the rest of the group suggested they could find love together as they were both single at the time.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking to Nick Grimshaw on his BBC Sounds podcast Sidetracked, she said: \u201cI was single at the time and all the girls were like, \u2018Oh, Harry. You could be in with a chance!\u2019. I was like, \u2018Oh, God, here we go\u2019.<\/p>\n
\n“They were being those sort of friends. And then, he is going down the line and I started getting nervous.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI wasn\u2019t even a**** but suddenly it was like ‘Princess Diaries’ in my brain.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI shook his hand and I think it was Jesy who was like, \u2018Ohhhh\u2019. I was like, \u2018Not in front of the Prince of England!\u2019.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m all for wing women, but not in that situation. He must have thought, \u2018What a weirdo!\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhile she wasn’t initially interested in Harry, the ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ singer – who is in a relationship with Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens – admitted her bandmates’ teasing encouraged her to look for a spark with the prince.<\/p>\n
\nHowever, there was no particular connection between them.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI can\u2019t flirt anyways, so there was definitely nothing like that.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMaybe I did a slight over-linger on the handshake, to catch a vibe. There wasn\u2019t one. I wish him well.\u201d<\/p>\n
