\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Masters of the Universe<\/strong><\/a><\/em> features a special surprise for longtime fans.<\/p>\n Spoilers ahead for those who haven\u2019t seen Masters of the Universe.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>, director Travis Knight<\/strong> and star Nicholas Galitzine<\/strong><\/a> opened up about Dolph Lundgren<\/strong>\u2018s cameo in the new film, which is now playing in theaters.<\/p>\n Dolph<\/strong> famously portrayed He-Man in the 1987 live-action Masters of the Universe<\/em> movie. In the new film, he appears during a montage showing Prince Adam\u2019s life on Earth before embracing his destiny.<\/p>\n Nicholas<\/strong> revealed he suggested bringing Dolph<\/strong> into the movie, only to learn Travis<\/strong> had already been working on the idea.<\/p>\n \u201cI seem to remember sort of quite brightly going to [director Travis Knight<\/strong>] and going, \u2018You know what would be a great idea, is if we had Dolph Lundgren<\/strong> in the movie,\u2019\u201d Nicholas<\/strong> told the outlet.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Travis<\/strong> said the cameo ultimately became a meaningful moment between the franchise\u2019s past and present He-Men.<\/p>\n \u201cI never knew that I\u2019d be able to convince Dolph Lundgren<\/strong> to be in our movie.
