Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> is reliving her childhood.<\/p>\n

The singer, 36, shared rare footage from her younger days via X<\/a> and Instagram<\/a> on Friday, June 5, to mark the release of her new song, \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You,\u201d lifted from the Toy Story 5<\/em><\/a> soundtrack.<\/p>\n

In the playful clip, a young Swift can be seen rocking a cowboy hat and boots, as well as a denim skirt with red trimming, as she dances.<\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s new track, cowritten by regular collaborator Jack Antonoff<\/strong>, is a country song inspired by Toy Story<\/em> character Jessie, a cowgirl first introduced in Toy Story 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWriting this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once,\u201d the Grammy winner wrote alongside the clip. \u201cAnd being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now\u2026 is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift continued, \u201cThank you to the brilliant [director] Andrew Stanton<\/strong> for imagining me for this, all those years ago when you wrote this newest film. Thank you to the incomparable [composer] @RandyNewman or the gorgeous sonic tapestry of songs and scores you\u2019ve meticulously woven over the years. You created the Toy Story musical world, and we are lucky to get to live in it.<\/p>\n
