Kate Middleton<\/strong><\/a> made a rare comment about how her cancer battle has affected those closest to her.<\/p>\n

Posting via Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, June 4, Hello!<\/em> magazine shared a video of Kate, 44, visiting a cancer patient who was at the end of her own treatment.<\/p>\n

Speaking with the patient, Kate acknowledged how tough going through a cancer ordeal can be on not only the sufferer themselves but their family as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know it\u2019s as hard for the family and loved ones,\u201d Kate said in the footage. \u201cI know how hard it was for the children and my parents.\u201d<\/p>\n

She told the cancer patient\u2019s partner, \u201cYou go through it with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPrincess Kate Middleton shared a rare comment on her cancer journey while speaking to fans after the royal family\u2019s Christmas Day service. \u201cThe amount of people who have written this year is extraordinary and I think cancer just really does resonate with so many families,\u201d Kate, 42, said on Wednesday, December 25, per footage obtained [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kate and Prince William<\/strong> have been married since 2011, and share three children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 7.<\/p>\n

Last month, William, 43, shared an update<\/a> on how Kate was faring as she continues her recovery from her health woes.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s an amazing mom, an amazing wife and, literally, our family couldn\u2019t cope without her,\u201d William said during a May 22 appearance on the U.K.\u2019s Heart Radio<\/em>. \u201cShe\u2019s been absolutely stunning, brilliant.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2024, Kate was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer, which forced her to pause her royal work commitments to undergo treatment, including a preventative form of chemotherapy.<\/p>\n

Last year, the Princess of Wales shared that she was in remission<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year,\u201d Kate wrote in a January 2025 statement. \u201cMy heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cWe couldn\u2019t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional. It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery \u2026 As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n
