Euphoria<\/em><\/a> shocked viewers with Bishop betraying his boss Alamo<\/a> \u2014 but when was story line revealed to the cast?<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t aware, at first when I began filming, but I was made aware of it probably midway through filming,\u201d Britt-Gibson, 39, told TVInsider<\/em><\/a> on Wednesday, June 3. \u201cAnd I just thought it was so beautifully done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Britt-Gibson said the narrative choice made sense, adding, \u201cAt that point, it felt very much in line with what Bishop would do, in my opinion. And so it felt very organic that that was gonna happen. When we actually got to film it, nothing about it felt like a shock or a surprise to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, May 31, series finale, Bishop had a hero moment<\/a> when he helped Ali (Colman Domingo<\/strong>) avenge Rue\u2019s (Zendaya<\/strong>) death by removing bullets from Alamo\u2019s (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje<\/strong>) gun moments before a Western-style showdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was incredible, because it\u2019s such a fun set to be on. [Creator] Sam [Levinson] has cultivated a set that\u2019s very welcoming, and it\u2019s very open too,\u201d Britt-Gibson explained. \u201cI could go by video village and look at things, it never felt like we\u2019re doing this intense thing and there is a lot that\u2019s required of everyone to execute it properly, but it\u2019s so well taken care of and you\u2019re just so excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cIt\u2019s a 10-day shoot and this is the fun part, and then you bring somebody like Coleman into the mix and it just makes it that much more of an experience because he\u2019s just this light, this amazing human being, and totally incredible actor, so I had so much fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked whether Bishop was always planning<\/a> to cut ties with Alamo, Britt-Gibson replied, \u201cBishop is extremely calculated, and it\u2019s always chess, not checkers for him, so the opportunity presented itself for this to be the moment to do whatever he had planned to do, but it\u2019s not like some spur of the moment like thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Britt-Gibson saw this always being the plan for his character.<\/p>\n
