Boy Meets World<\/em><\/a> alums Danielle Fishel<\/strong> <\/a>and Will Friedle<\/strong><\/a> are open to a reconciliation with former costar Ben Savage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been hard,\u201d Friedle, 49, told People<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Wednesday, June 3. \u201cJust today, literally, we were recording an episode this morning of \u2018Pod Meets World\u2019 and there came a question that we all wanted to know, that we know if Ben had been on with us, it would have been answered like that and we would have heard a great story.\u201d<\/p>\n

Friedle, who played Savage\u2019s onscreen brother for the show\u2019s run from 1993 to 2000, still wants \u201cto pick up the phone\u201d so they can talk.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know I\u2019m shouting into the void, but I\u2019m going to keep doing it. I haven\u2019t given up on my friend,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019m hoping that he comes back into our lives at some point, and when he does, we\u2019re going to have a lot to talk about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fishel, 45, shared a similar sentiment \u2014 wishing that she was a part of Savage\u2019s life as a new dad.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love imagining him in this new chapter of his life as a dad. I know he has had a baby girl,\u201d she said. \u201cHe\u2019s now a husband. So I love just thinking about him [in that capacity].\u201d<\/p>\n

Savage, 45, welcomed a daughter<\/a> with wife Tessa Angermeier<\/strong> in November 2025. Before their falling out, Fishel told People<\/em> that she discussed the possibility of fatherhood with Savage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked a lot about how he looked forward to being a dad someday. So I like imagining this phase of life that he\u2019s in now,\u201d she added. \u201cIt makes me sad sometimes when I think about the fact that I would love to just know, like, \u2018How\u2019s it going? What\u2019s happening now? What are the milestones that are being checked off?’\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Fishel has also reached \u201ca place of immense understanding and grace\u201d when it comes to Savage not wanting to \u201clook back\u201d at their time on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot everybody wants to talk about uncomfortable truths,\u201d she continued. \u201cThe three of us said it was something that we did want to do. Although we were nervous, it was a journey we were willing and excited to go down.\u201d<\/p>\n
