Refusing to waste away under painful chemotherapy, she decides to go out on her own terms via physician-assisted suicide at a euthanasia facility in Switzerland. She asks Ava to join her on one final luxury vacation through Europe first.<\/p>\n<p>-Towards the end of their adventure, Deborah decides to cancel the trip to Switzerland, pursue cancer treatment, and write one final comedy special alongside Ava.<\/p>\n<p>-The series concludes with a visual mirror to the pilot episode. The scene transitions from the actual Eiffel Tower in Paris to its replica on the Las Vegas Strip. Deborah and Ava are seen walking arm-in-arm, continuing to banter and workshop material together.
