3 June 2026<\/time>\n <\/p>\nGrammy-award winning singer Peabo Bryson, most famous for lending his vocals to the Disney song Beauty and the Beast, has died aged 75. <\/p>\n <\/p>\nPeabo Bryson – January 2025 – Avalon – Philadelphia<\/p>\nIt was confirmed on Sunday (31.05.26) that the R B star had suffered a stroke, with a representative saying in a statement on Tuesday (02.06.26) that he had \u201ctransitioned peacefully\u201d on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\nA statement read: \u201cFor more than five decades, Peabo\u2019s extraordinary voice served as the soundtrack to some of life\u2019s most cherished moments.<\/p>\n\u201cHis music carried generations through joyful celebrations, great love stories and enduring moments of comfort and inspiration, creating a legacy that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him and the countless lives he touched through song.<\/p>\nHe was \u201csurrounded by the love of his family and those closest to him\u201d as he passed. <\/p>\n\nHis relatives released their own statement after the news of his passing broke, in which they said: \u201cWe are tremendously moved by the outpouring of love, prayers and support from fans, friends, and colleagues around the world. <\/p>\n\n\u201cIn this deeply difficult moment, the family asks for privacy as they mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, family member, friend and artist whose impact extended far beyond the stage.<\/p>\n\n\u201cWhile our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing how deeply\u00a0Peabo\u00a0was loved and how many lives were touched by his\u00a0voice and his generous spirit.
