Summer House<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Ben Waddell<\/strong><\/a> is setting the record straight after Amanda Batula<\/strong><\/a> claimed he wanted to have sex with her while she was married to Kyle Cooke<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no group text, it\u2019s fully untrue,\u201d Ben, 39, wrote via Threads<\/a> on Monday, June 1, responding to a fan question about Amanda, 34, alleging on season 10 of the Bravo show that he wanted to have sex with her when they were in Italy and \u201cthere was an entire text chain about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ben further explained that Amanda \u201ctook it back at the reunion,\u201d referring to her remarks on camera, which he has maintained were totally untrue.<\/p>\n

\u201c[She] said she \u2018over-exaggerated\u2019 that story. Hope that clears that \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc,\u201d Ben concluded.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIt was the audio leak heard around the world: On April 23, shortly after the cast of Summer House filmed their highly anticipated reunion special in New York City, unauthorized recordings from the set went viral. In the clips, emotions ran high as castmates appeared to press Amanda Batula and West Wilson on their shocking [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the Summer House<\/em> season 10 premiere, which aired in February, Amanda revealed how she first met newbie Ben<\/a>. She explained that they had mutual friends who got married in Italy in summer 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were up. Yeah, we stayed up,\u201d Ben told his new housemates, playing coy about what transpired during his and Amanda\u2019s first encounter. Amanda teased, \u201cIt was great.\u201d<\/p>\n

West Wilson<\/strong><\/a> then asked what everyone in the cast appeared to be wondering: \u201cDid you guys go to an orgy or something?\u201d<\/p>\n

Ben and Amanda both made faces, but she later told the cameras, \u201cBen and I met at my best friend\u2019s wedding in Italy while we were skinny-dipping.\u201d<\/p>\n

She explained that Kyle, 43, whom she married in September 2021, was there when the skinny-dipping took place. (Kyle and Amanda announced their divorce in January after four years of marriage<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cHow do I explain this?\u201d Amanda pondered before saying, \u201cWe ended up, me, the bride and Ben skinny-dipping in the pool while Kyle was blasting a speaker walking around the outside of the pool. We really got to know each at that point, fully nude.\u201d<\/p>\n
