Alaskan Bush People<\/em> star Noah Brown<\/strong> has confirmed he helped recover and ID his oldest brother Matt Brown<\/strong>\u2019s body after he was reported missing and feared dead.<\/p>\n

Noah, 33, confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> that he was the person to ID Matt, 43, while he also took to Instagram<\/a> on the night of Saturday, May 30, to share \u201csome bad news\u201d with his followers.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the past couple of days, I\u2019ve been working with search and rescue groups trying to locate the body and today at 3:27, the group that I was working with located the missing body and I identified it as Matthew,\u201d he told the camera. \u201cMy oldest brother, Matthew Brown, has passed away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noah said the family will share more details once they receive the coroner\u2019s report.<\/p>\n

He went on to thank those who helped find Matt\u2019s body amid the search and rescue efforts, adding that he didn\u2019t have many details to share.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was there when we pulled him out of the river. We hauled him up off the bank and then after the sheriff\u2019s got there and everything, the coroner did his thing and I went down to identify that it was him,\u201d Noah recalled.<\/p>\n

Noah shared that Matt\u2019s ID and social security card were on him at the time his body was found, and Noah \u201cvisually\u201d identified him to authorities.<\/p>\n

He explained that he initially put off making a video about Matt\u2019s death because he wanted to make sure it was confirmed.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce he knew definitive, I wanted to make sure that everyone who knew us personally heard first,\u201d he said, adding that he\u2019s made many phone calls to inform loved ones about Matt\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n

Noah promised that he will share more updates as he and his family continue to learn more about the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce we know a cause of death and everything, I will put a video up about that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Noah concluded the video by reminding his followers to check in on their loved ones. \u201cSay your prayers and tell people that you love that you love them while you can,\u201d he said. \u201cGod bless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noah\u2019s brother Bear Brown<\/strong> confirmed that Matt died at the age of 43<\/a> earlier on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey found a body in the river a few hours ago and it was positively identified as being Matt,\u201d Bear, 38, announced via TikTok<\/a>. \u201cNoah was with them and helped them pull the body out of the water. Noah identified [Matt].\u201d<\/p>\n

While Bear said that Matt \u201cstruggled for a long time,\u201d he said he \u201cnever would have suspected that [Matt] would have hurt himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so worried that he would end up ODed or something like that. I didn\u2019t think he would hurt himself,\u201d Bear added.<\/p>\n

He also reiterated that there was no official cause of death yet, but Matt\u2019s death was believed to be \u201cself-inflicted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Matt\u2019s death was confirmed just hours after Oregon authorities suspended search efforts<\/a> for a missing man, who was believed to be the reality star, due to weather concerns.<\/p>\n
