\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n President Donald Trump<\/strong> is calling for the Freedom 250<\/em><\/strong> concert to be scrapped in favor of a massive MAGA rally.<\/p>\n The president took to Truth Social<\/a> on Saturday afternoon (May 30) to share his thoughts on the Great American State Fair, which is scheduled to take place later this summer on Washington\u2019s National Mall.<\/p>\n In his post, Trump<\/strong> argued that the planned concert should be replaced with a large political gathering.<\/p>\n \u201cWe should have a giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY, for 250, instead of having overpriced singers, who nobody wants to hear, whose music is boring, and yet who do nothing but complain,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Trump<\/strong>\u2018s comments came after several artists announced they would no longer perform<\/a> at the Freedom 250<\/em> event, including, Bret Michaels<\/strong>, Martina McBride<\/strong>, Morris Day<\/strong>, The Commodores<\/strong>, and Young MC<\/strong>. <\/p>\n \u201cCancel it,\u201d Trump<\/strong> added before turning his attention to a federal judge who recently blocked his proposed closure and renovation plans<\/a> for the Kennedy Center.<\/p>\n Earlier on Saturday, the president shared a post on Truth Social<\/a> saying he would deliver a speech and host an \u201cAmerica is Back\u201d rally at the \u201csame time, same location.\u201d<\/p>\n According to NBC News<\/a>, a person familiar with planning for the event said Trump<\/strong> was always expected to headline a July Fourth celebration connected to the fair.
