Demi Moore<\/a> is reportedly mourning the loss of her beloved dog.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The Substance actress’ micro chihuahua Pilaf has been her constant companion over the last few years, regularly making appearances alongside her famous owner on the red carpet or on talk shows, but according to the Mail on Sunday newspaper, the pooch has passed away at the age of just five.<\/p>\n
Pilaf hasn’t been seen on Demi’s Instagram account since 3 March, when the 63-year-old star shared photographs of her pet before the Actor Awards, and the dog’s own page on the platform hasn’t been updated since the end of February.<\/p>\n
The Ghost actress previously spoke of how Pilaf travels everywhere with her and has had a lot of experiences many people could only dream of.<\/p>\n
Demi laughed to Britain\u2019s HELLO! magazine: \u201cShe\u2019s like my little friend, my partner.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe stretched out on that Air France La Premiere flight. She loved it, She\u2019s my little travel mate and she\u2019s just a joy.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI usually have her in my little sling.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe go everywhere \u2013 she\u2019s been to the French Open, the Louvre, and Broadway shoes.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe just saw Romeo and Juliet with Tom Holland in London. She was quite moved. She thought the performance was extraordinary, as it was.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPilaf has almost 30,000 followers on her own Instagram account and Demi thinks she has a natural star quality about her.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cShe is quite a star. She\u2019s had ore write-ups than you could ever imagine. Who knew?<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe is a pound and a half, the runt of her litter.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe is a star and she knows it \u2013 that\u2019s the thing. But she knows it in a way that she owns it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Demi recently discussed the use of AI in Hollywood and while she thinks the industry needs to work with the technology, she doesn’t feel it can replace “true art”.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking at a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival, Demi explained: “AI is here, and so to fight it is to, in a sense, fight something that is a battle that we will lose. So to find ways in which we can work with it, I think, is a more valuable path.<\/p>\n
\n“Are we doing enough to protect ourselves? I don\u2019t know. My inclination would be to say probably not.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite this, Demi stressed that there are limits to what AI can achieve in the film business.<\/p>\n
\nThe Landman star – who became the world’s highest-paid actress in the 90s – reflected: “There are beautiful aspects of being able to utilise it, but the truth is, there really isn\u2019t anything to fear, because what it can never replace is what true art comes from, which is not the physical. It comes from the soul.”<\/p>\n
