\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n A Baywatch<\/strong><\/a><\/em> reboot is currently in the works! <\/p>\n First ordered to series<\/a> in March 2024, the upcoming television show revival was confirmed the next year to debut<\/a> during the 2026-2027 broadcast season on Fox, and filming has been in full swing this year. <\/p>\n Production officially kicked off in mid-March<\/a> and has been ongoing ever since, leading us to see many photos from set at the beach. Filming is also taking place on sound stages in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n Here\u2019s a synopsis, via Variety<\/a><\/em>: \u201cThe wild child Hobie Buchannon we all loved from the original series is now a Baywatch captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie\u2019s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her dad. OG heartthrob Cody Madison now runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar-and-grill, and still puts on the red trunks for the occasional shift saving lives.
