\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Dennis Quaid<\/strong><\/a> wants to stop paying monthly child support to his ex-wife, Kimberly Buffington<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 72-year-old The Substance <\/em>actor filed a petition to stop monthly child support payments of $13,750 for their 18-year-old twins after they graduate from high school in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n Their 2018 divorce agreement stated that payments could end \u201cwhen a child completes 12th grade (if still under 19 and a full-time high school student) or reaches the other enumerated endpoints, whichever occurs first,\u201d via People.<\/a><\/p>\n Dennis<\/strong> is also required to pay an additional amount of money to Kimberly<\/strong> each year if he makes more than $1,314,000, and he wants that amount to be \u201cprorated to each child\u2019s graduation date rather than using Dennis<\/strong>\u2018 full-year 2026 income.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple welcomed their kids back in November of 2007. They got married in 2004, and divorced in 2018.
