She made the filing on her 18th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>(For years, she\u2019d been presented in tabloids as a \u201cdaddy\u2019s girl\u201d who wished that her parents would simply reconcile. One cannot help but wonder if this name change filing was, in part, a response this this narrative.)<\/p>\n<p>Also in 2024, Zahara introduces herself as Zahara Marley Jolie when she joined her Spelman College sorority. Pax also ditched the Pitt name, albeit informally.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, thus far, the only Jolie children who seem to have \u201cPitt\u201d as part of their names are Knox and Vivienne.<\/p>\n<p>The twins are both 17. When they turn 18, maybe they\u2019ll keep the Pitt surname. But maybe not. The divorce process was lengthy and painful, only being finalized in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Allegedly, Pitt attacked her and at least one of his children during a private flight.<\/p>\n<p>Angelina took that personally, as she should. It appears that her children did the same.<\/p>\n<p>Maddox actually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2021\/03\/maddox-jolie-pitt-testifies-against-brad-seeks-to-drop-pitt-from\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">testified against his father<\/a>. Ditching daddy dearest\u2019s name really isn\u2019t much of a surprise.<\/p>\n<p>Some people keep the surname of a parent with whom they have gone no contact, out of convenience or to match their names with siblings.
