Tina Fey<\/strong><\/a> is coming to Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s defense after the Oscar nominee was called out<\/a> for \u201cmanspreading\u201d at a recent New York Knicks game.<\/p>\n

Fey, 56, was spotted courtside next to Chalamet, 30, his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner<\/strong>, and Ben Stiller<\/strong> at the Knicks\u2019 NBA first-round playoff game against the Atlanta Hawks on April 28. After pictures emerged online of the stars, some social media stars accused the actor of \u201cmanspreading\u201d (that is, the act of spreading his legs widely) and encroaching on Fey\u2019s space.<\/p>\n

The 30 Rock<\/em><\/a> creator and star was quizzed about the reaction during a Wednesday, May 27, appearance on the \u201cNew Heights\u201d<\/a> podcast hosted by Jason<\/strong> and Travis Kelce,<\/strong> clearing up any notion of drama between her and Chalamet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI should start by saying that Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet was nothing but lovely, super friendly. It wasn\u2019t till the next day that I saw all these manspreading things,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhen New York Knicks superfan Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, took their seats in Cleveland for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the power couple were noticeably removed from their usual courtside vantage point.\u00a0\u00a0 As it turns out, the Cleveland Cavaliers organization took preventive steps to help make sure Rocket Arena didn\u2019t [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBut I will say, you gotta remember, for every amount that he\u2019s sitting like this and manspreading, I\u2019m doing the opposite,\u201d she continued. \u201cI got a big ol\u2019 can. Timoth\u00e9e\u2019s legs took the front, my big old can was taking the back. We had no beef. It was all good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chalamet and Jenner, 28, have attended several Knicks games this season, cheering on his favorite team to multiple victories.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of my first games, I was 10 years old, was the Denver Nuggets vs. the New York Knicks,\u201d the Wonka actor said on the \u201c7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony\u201d podcast in December 2025. \u201cIf you look at the footage \u2026 I snuck down with my buddy. We\u2019re on the tunnel exit and you can see the players. You can see a little kid going nuts on the players! That was me! That was a crazy game to be at.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fact, Chalamet is such a big Knicks fan that he skipped the 2026 Met Gala<\/a> on May 4 to attend the NBA team\u2019s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Kylie attended fashion\u2019s biggest night solo.<\/p>\n

In the video, shared by Page Six, Chalamet was seen debuting a haircut and mustache as he entered Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, May 19. \u201cDaddy,\u201d [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chalamet and Jenner have been going strong since early 2023, with Chalamet inviting his girlfriend as his date to various awards ceremonies, including this year\u2019s Oscars.<\/p>\n
