Presumably, the motive will come up in court.<\/p>\n<p>The date of the crime, court documents say, was on or around August 29, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the alleged victim is identified solely as Jane Doe.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kelly Dodd&#039;s Brother on How Her Daughter Jolie Is Embarrassed Of Her and Rick\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2tbvQmHsjSM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p><em>TMZ <\/em>details that Dodd allegedly recorded the footage without Doe\u2019s consent.<\/p>\n<p>The recording took place when the alleged victim had a reasonable expectation of privacy.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, Dodd and Doe discussed the footage, leading to a mutual agreement to keep the media private.<\/p>\n<p>Around the same time as Dodd allegedly broke this agreement to share the revenge porn, she is accused of another wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors say that the fallen Real Housewife contacted Doe and threatened to injure her, her property, and her family.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kelly Dodd&#039;s Wildest Real Housewives of Orange County Moments | RHOC\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l22P5sOhCqo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-there-s-a-lot-that-we-don-t-know-yet-about-what-happened\">There\u2019s a lot that we don\u2019t know (yet) about what happened<\/h2>\n<p>As a result of all of this, prosecutors cite, Jane Doe suffered severe emotional distress.<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear who was the alleged recipient of revenge porn.<\/p>\n<p>And, again, we do not know what motive prosecutors say motivated Dodd to distribute the material \u2014 or issue the seemingly verbal threats late last summer.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, more details will come out at trial, if not before then.<\/p>\n<p>Though fans of <em>RHOC <\/em>remember Dodd\u2019s propensity for outbursts (to say nothing of the sinister turn that her posts have taken over the past six years or so), people have a lot of questions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kelly Dodd vs Dr. Dhivya: Brutal Instagram Feud Gets EXPLOSIVE and Goes Viral!\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/x_G6dFnhonU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>We mentioned that Dodd is facing a separate and seemingly unrelated charge.<\/p>\n<p>In June of 2025, two months or so before this revenge porn incident, she allegedly attacked a different Jane Doe.<\/p>\n<p>This alleged attack was more physical.<\/p>\n<p><em>TMZ <\/em>tallied it up, and that means that Dodd is facing 3 different charges \u2014 all misdemeanors \u2014 and possible jail time.<\/p>\n<p>Dodd\u2019s behavioral problems have been obvious, on Bravo and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2021\/12\/kelly-dodd-lashes-out-at-stepdaughter-in-vicious-twitter-meltdow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">social media<\/a>, for years.
