\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Marissa George<\/strong><\/a> is married! <\/p>\n The Netflix star, who just recently appeared on Perfect Match<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season four, reveals she tied the knot earlier this year with a former partner, D. Johnson<\/strong>, according to People<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n Marissa<\/strong> shared with the publication that filming on the Netflix dating show wrapped in November 2025, and the reconnected that month. Then, in March, she eloped with D.<\/strong>, who she first met and dated back in 2013!<\/p>\n While they \u201cfell in love fast\u201d at the time, she says, \u201cWe were young and lived states away from each other, so the distance just didn\u2019t work at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOver the last 13 years, we somehow always found our way back to each other,\u201d the reality star shared. \u201cAnytime we were both single, we\u2019d reconnect and it was always clear the feelings never really left. Even our mutual friends would always say, \u2018If the timing ever works out, they\u2019re going to end up together.’\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEventually, after years spent being each other\u2019s \u2018what if,\u2019 we got to a point where we were like, \u2018Screw the distance, this is worth it,’\u201d she added. <\/p>\n After rekindling their romance, they got engaged on February 21st and exactly one month later, on March 21st, they got married during a small elopement ceremony in Savannah, Ga., with their parents, siblings and close friends in attendance. <\/p>\n \u201cThe day I said \u2018I do,\u2019 I felt this immense responsibility in the most beautiful way. Not pressure, but clarity. Like, this is serious. This is real partnership. I can\u2019t play games and I don\u2019t want to,\u201d Marissa<\/strong> said. \u201cIt\u2019s not that I didn\u2019t take past relationships seriously, but I honestly don\u2019t think I fully understood what a healthy love was supposed to feel like until now. And once you experience a love that feels peaceful, grounding, safe, and freeing all at once, it completely changes you.\u201d<\/p>\n Following their nuptials, the couple plans to move to Japan soon, and have a big wedding next year. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m honestly just really excited that after all these years we finally get to choose each other fully and publicly,\u201d she dished. <\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s so special about our relationship is how safe it feels. I\u2019ve never had someone love me in a way that also made me feel so free to fully be myself,\u201d Marissa<\/strong> adds. \u201c[He] has loved me through so many versions of myself and has created space for me to continue growing, learning, changing, and evolving without shame or judgment. In so many ways, he\u2019s helped heal parts of me that I didn\u2019t even fully realize still needed healing.\u201d<\/p>\n On Perfect Match<\/em>, Marissa<\/strong> was coupled up with DeMari Davis<\/strong>, from Too Hot to Handle<\/em>, throughout the experience. Prior to that, she got engaged to Ramses Prashad<\/strong> on Love Is Blind<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season seven, before being blindsided days before their wedding. <\/p>\n Now, she\u2019s still grateful for her time on the Netflix dating shows. <\/p>\n \u201cI cherish what [my husband and I] have so deeply.
