Barry Manilow<\/strong><\/a> is getting real about what cosmetic surgery he has gotten over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look fantastic, but I\u2019m 100 years old, right?\u201d the singer, 82, joked during an interview with the Los Angeles Times<\/em><\/a> published on Wednesday, May 27. \u201cI don\u2019t know how that happened, by the way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manilow revealed he doesn\u2019t get \u201cBotox or anything,\u201d which prompted the outlet to ask if he had any previous \u201cwork done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI must say, there was one time when we lived in L.A. that I did do a facelift,\u201d he revealed. \u201cBut after that it\u2019s just been a little here, a little there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBarry Manilow is on the mend after undergoing surgery to remove cancerous tissue on one of his lungs. \u201cI want to share an update with you all. I\u2019m doing great and recovering very well after my surgery,\u201d Manilow, 82, wrote in a Wednesday, February 4, statement shared via social media. \u201cI\u2019ve been getting exercise and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Manilow clarified that he considers getting \u201cwork done\u201d as going under the knife for something extreme like a facelift.<\/p>\n

\u201cI only had one of those,\u201d he continued of his previous facelift. \u201cThe rest of it \u2014 I see something falling down, sure, I\u2019ll do that. I\u2019m as vain as anybody else. One of my old friends, his mother said, \u2018I always knew he was talented, but when did he get so handsome?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Manilow\u2019s cosmetic confession comes five months after he revealed his lung cancer diagnosis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs many of you know, I recently went through six weeks of bronchitis followed by a relapse of another five weeks. Even though I was over the bronchitis and back on stage at the Westgate Las Vegas, my wonderful doctor ordered an MRI just to make sure that everything was OK,\u201d he wrote via Instagram in December 2025. \u201cThe MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed. It\u2019s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early. That\u2019s the good news.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMandy\u201d singer shared that he needed to undergo surgery to remove the cancerous spot. He did not need chemotherapy because it was caught early.<\/p>\n
