Hudson Williams<\/strong><\/a> on Criminal Minds: Evolutation<\/em>?!<\/p>\n

The Heated Rivalry<\/em> star\u2019s co-star and friend Connor Storrie<\/strong><\/a> is set to appear in a multi-episode arc of the show\u2019s upcoming 19th season this summer, and the showrunner just revealed that they tried to book Hudson<\/strong> for a role in the next season. <\/p>\n

Criminal Minds: Evolution<\/em> was renewed for season 20<\/a> back in March.<\/p>\n

In a new interview, showrunner Erica Messer <\/strong>dished that they made an attempt to have Hudson<\/strong> on following Connor<\/strong>\u2018s guest star role. <\/p>\n

\u201cTrust me, we looked [into it],\u201d she told Us Weekly<\/a><\/em>. \u201cWe were like, \u2018Is he available?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

However, she shared it didn\u2019t work out due to scheduling conflicts. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s shooting the second season of Heated Rivalry<\/em><\/a> in August and that\u2019s when we would need them,\u201d Erica<\/strong> said. \u201cWe tried.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Connor<\/strong>\u2018s upcoming appearance, which started out as a singular episode, but turned into a multi-episode arc, Erica<\/strong> teased his character plays an important role to the overall story of the season. <\/p>\n

\u201cConnor<\/strong> gets introduced in episode 4,\u201d she shared. \u201cHis story does have something to do with the big bad of the season but \u2014 without wanting to give much away \u2014 that\u2019s all I\u2019ll say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Criminal Minds: Evolution<\/em> season 19 is set to premiere THIS Thursday (May 28) with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes weekly. Connor<\/strong>\u2018s first ep is slated for June 11th. Watch the trailer!<\/a> <\/p>\n
