Justin Hartley<\/strong><\/a> broke his silence on his hit show Tracker<\/em><\/a>\u2018s big relocation change for season 4.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIn terms of tone and character, I don\u2019t think it\u2019ll impact the show at all,\u201d Hartley told The Wrap<\/em><\/a> on Monday, May 25. \u201cOur show is a road show. Our character goes from town to town across the United States of America and meets people from all different walks of life and helps them out. These strangers become kind of his family in a way.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor expressed excitement about making the move<\/a> to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be able to shoot in a different place that gives us different landscapes, we\u2019re able to go to places \u2014 New York, D.C., the desert, Texas, the beach,\u201d Hartley noted. \u201cIt just opens up our world in terms of landscape, which is such a big character of our show.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the shift, Hartley expressed gratitude for the show\u2019s time<\/a> in Canada.<\/p>\n \u201cWe built a really great, wonderful show and we did it in Vancouver for the first three years. Just, inevitably, as things go, the show has to evolve,\u201d he added. \u201cWe\u2019re not really interested in doing something just for the sake of doing it. I want to push the envelope and I want it to be something different, so we\u2019re excited about it. It\u2019s going to be very good for the show and for the audience.\u201d<\/p>\n Based on Jeffery Deaver<\/strong>\u2018s novel The Never Game, Tracker<\/em> follows Hartley\u2019s Colter around the country as he helps to find missing people and solve mysterious cases. After spending three seasons filming in Vancouver, news broke in May that Tracker was awarded $48 million on $129 million in qualified expenditures, prompting its move.<\/a><\/p>\n Tracker<\/em> is 20th Television\u2019s biggest series to be brought back to California with the help of a tax credit. Before that, Prime Video\u2019s Fallout<\/em> moved from New York to Los Angeles, while Dan Fogelman\u2019s upcoming NFL drama, The Land<\/em>, was given a $42.8 million tax credit.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m proud of what we built in Vancouver. I\u2019m also very excited we\u2019re bringing Tracker to L.A.,\u201d Hartley said in a statement at the time. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to continuing to tell these stories alongside the new, fresh places we\u2019ll be heading to next. Most importantly, I want to thank the fans for showing up for us every step of the way.
