Less than 24 hours before Father\u2019s Day, Dean <\/strong><\/a>McDermott<\/strong><\/a> dropped <\/span>a bombshell: He and wife <\/span>Tori Spelling<\/strong><\/a> had split<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s <\/span>with great sadness and a very, very heavy heart that after 18 years together and five amazing children, [we\u2019ve] decided to go our separate ways,\u201d the 56-year-old wrote on In<\/span>stagram on June 17.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe will continue to work together as loving parents<\/a> and guide and love our children through this difficult time.\u201d Soon after, however, the post was taken down \u2014 and both Tori, 50, and Dean stayed silent on the divorce shocker during the ensuing week.<\/p>\n \u201cSome think it was all a PR stunt,\u201d dishes an insider, noting the couple were previously forced to deny they faked a cheating scandal to drum up ratings for their reality show<\/a>, True Tori<\/em>, in 2014. \u201cThey have a history of being desperate for attention.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n But Tori and Dean (who are parents to Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 5) also have had their share of marital issues<\/a>. \u201cSo maybe they had a huge fight, Dean impulsively announced the divorce, then he had second thoughts and they worked it out,\u201d speculates the insider. \u201cIt wouldn\u2019t be the first time they worked things out right when everyone thought it was over.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
