Everyone has got their favorite Mandy Moore<\/strong><\/a> project \u2014 for Nate Bargatze<\/strong><\/a>, it\u2019s all about Entourage.<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

In his Us Weekly <\/em>cover story<\/a>, the comedian gushes all about his love for Moore \u2014 who plays his wife in their new family flick The Breadwinner<\/em> (in theaters Friday, May 29).<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew her as a singer a long time ago,\u201d Bargatze explains. \u201cAnd then Entourage<\/em>, so I asked her about Entourage<\/em>. I think she loved doing Entourage<\/em>, but I was the age of Entourage<\/em> coming out, where [I was] starting comedy. I tried to back off my Entourage<\/em> [love with her], but I could have kept going. I could have, but I tried to be somewhat respectful. I had to say it! I was like, \u201cI loved Entourage<\/em>,\u2019 but then I kind of backed off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore portrayed a fictionalized version of herself on the iconic HBO comedy series, which aired from 2004 to 2011. Moore played a girlfriend of Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n

\u201cI think everybody\u2019s got their own [project they love her for],\u201d Bargatze continues. \u201cThat\u2019s the thing. She has such a career that everybody\u2019s kind of got something that you want to talk to her about.\u201d<\/p>\n

In The Breadwinner,<\/em> Moore plays Katie, a stay-at-home mom of three kids whose life changes when her handy home invention hits it big on Shark Tank,<\/em> causing Nate (Bargatze) to have to adjust to life at home.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s looked at like America\u2019s mom in a sense, so she was just perfect for this role,\u201d Bargatze tells Us<\/em>. \u201cI felt very comfortable with Mandy. I put good actors around me, just in case I stunk or something! She was the first person we wanted, so we were very happy that she said yes. Mandy was very much able to just help me go through the flow.\u201d<\/p>\n
