Several Marshals<\/em> stars are breaking their silence after sparking speculation that they could be leaving the Yellowstone<\/em><\/a> spinoff.<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, May 24, episode of the hit CBS series, Andrea (Ash Santos<\/strong>) was offered a job that would take her from Montana to Washington D.C. Meanwhile, Belle (Arielle Kebbel<\/strong>) and Cal (Logan Marshall-Green<\/strong>) were on a mission when they got ambushed \u2014 with Tom Weaver (Chris Mulkey<\/strong>) involved in the potentially deadly situation.<\/a><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t clear whether Belle and Cal were killed off-screen despite the show being renewed for season 2. Marshall-Green, 49, and Kebbel, however, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> that they have begun filming season 2<\/a> \u2014 and they will be sticking around.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can confirm [Cal] is alive, but not necessarily unscathed,\u201d Marshall-Green told the outlet in an article published after Sunday\u2019s episode. \u201cI think I can confirm that for everybody in the damn show, because everybody\u2019s going through it by the end of this thing. I\u2019m hours away of shooting [season 2, episode 1]. I can tell you that we\u2019re all going through things \u2014 without giving anything away.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tYellowstone\u2018s Marshals is returning for season 2 \u2014 but is everyone from the cast coming back? The Paramount Network show, which premiered in 2018, introduced viewers to the fictional Dutton family. Yellowstone came to an end in 2024, expanding its universe with Luke Grimes\u2018 CBS show Marshals and Dutton Ranch, which premiered in May. According [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kebbel also weighed in, saying, \u201cI am a part of season 2, yes. We start filming [season 2] with a pick up of that [finale] moment. My head is so deep into season 2 already.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress recalled her initial reaction to the finale script.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter reading that big cliffhanger, I should have asked myself if Belle survives! But the truth is that I\u2019m so used to Belle being in precarious situations almost every episode,\u201d she noted. \u201cAnd even though both Belle and Cal are there, it felt in that moment that, because Cal is in front, he\u2019s the one in more in danger. I\u2019m behind him, based on where we ended the episode. So when I read it, my head went to, \u2018What\u2019s going to happen to Cal?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, Marshall-Green made it clear he has no plans to leave<\/a> the show, adding, \u201cI love employment! I love steady income, and I love more than anything this crew and this cast. I could easily see myself making this show for many years.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cNow \u2014 where is the story juiciest, now that we\u2019re dealing with a subject matter like cancer? I don\u2019t wanna sugarcoat it. I don\u2019t want kid gloves on. I don\u2019t want a safe approach. I want Cal to go through it, because I think that is the duty to these men and women who come back from uniform.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marshall-Green had hope in the<\/a> show\u2019s creative team.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd maybe there\u2019s a way, with the advancement of treatments, to have both worlds. But really, in the end, it\u2019s about what stories are left to tell,\u201d he continued. \u201cThat\u2019s up to Yana Grebenyuk Spencer [Hudnut]<\/strong> and the writers, and also Luke [Grimes]<\/strong>. Luke\u2019s been playing this role for a long time. But I think I can speak for everybody when I say that we love coming to work, and, boy, do we come to work. The first season was a grueling shoot.\u201d<\/p>\n
