It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/05\/carl-radke-blasts-amanda-batula-west-wilson-pda-on-latest-summer-house-episode\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">didn\u2019t go over well<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But were Kyle and Amanda really married in the first place? They announced their separation the following day.<span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Photo Credit: Dimitrios Kambouris\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-did-they-fake-their-2021-wedding\">Did they \u2018fake\u2019 their 2021 wedding?<\/h2>\n<p>On Monday, May 25, Kyle Cooke honored Memorial Day by responding to a rumor.<\/p>\n<p>Someone on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threads.com\/@imkylecooke\/post\/DYukkokkbU2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Threads<\/a> \u2014 of all places \u2014 asked him in a since-deleted post about whether he and Amanda had faked their wedding.<\/p>\n<p>(Remember, their wedding aired on <em>Summer House<\/em>. It was the Season 6 finale!)<\/p>\n<p>Many public figures would ignore such a question. Especially if it is pertaining to a former marriage.<\/p>\n<p>But Kyle clearly took it personally. In exceptional cases, someone might hold a separate birthday party on the wrong day, but pretend to the cameras that it is <em>on the day of<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>(For that matter, non-famous couples sometimes elope or quietly marry ahead of a larger ceremony, and don\u2019t admit it to friends and family until later, if at all.)<\/p>\n<p>However, accusing someone of having staged a fake wedding with his now-ex seems a little odd.<\/p>\n<p>Many rumors <em>might <\/em>be true.
