Hafthor Julius Bjornsson<\/strong><\/a>, best known as the World\u2019s Strongest Man and for playing \u201cThe Mountain\u201d on Game of Thrones<\/em>, fell short in his world record attempt at the 2026 Enhanced Games<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The 37-year-old professional strongman and actor holds the record for the heaviest deadlift ever at 510 kg, which equals about 1,124 pounds. <\/p>\n

Bjornsson<\/strong> attempted to do a 515 kg deadlift at the Enhanced Games<\/em> to beat his own record, but he fell short in the attempt. The competition took place at Resorts World on Sunday (May 24) in Las Vegas. <\/p>\n

The athlete shared a video of his failed attempt and commented on what happened. <\/p>\n
