Euphoria<\/em><\/a> is building up to its third \u2014 and possibly last \u2014 finale with several characters potentially being set up for an onscreen death.<\/a><\/p>\n

Based on the Israeli series of the same name, Euphoria<\/em> followed troubled high school<\/a> student Rue (Zendaya<\/strong>) as she struggled to remain sober after rehab. The series also explored topics including mental illness, toxic relationships, sexuality and more. After its premiere in 2019, the show\u2019s ensemble cast, which included Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Colman Domingo<\/strong> quickly skyrocketed to fame.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the season 3 finale, which airs May 31, Elordi\u2019s character, Nate, was killed off with a<\/a> rattlesnake bite.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a cool way to go. Nate was someone who has made so many mistakes and made so many dark choices,\u201d Elordi explained in a segment that aired after the May 24 episode. \u201cIt\u2019s cool to see it all come to what it\u2019s come to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elordi recalled having to film in a coffin, adding, \u201cMy shoulders were touching the side and they couldn\u2019t move my arms. Then they would drill the lid on it and it would get dark. \u2029It was really nice, actually. It was quite peaceful in there.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of the segment, Elordi reflected on his time playing Nate.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a bittersweet thing,\u201d he said. \u201cThis show is a massive part of \u2014 not just my career \u2014 but my life. It\u2019s been amazing and I\u2019m so proud of being a part of this.\u201d<\/p>\n
