\nRevealing she and fianc\u00e9 Mitch Hahn have welcomed a baby daughter just months after the Girls Aloud star underwent surgery during pregnancy to help keep her baby \u201cin\u201d, Nicola, 40, shared the news on Instagram on Sunday (24.05.26) alongside a series of photographs showing the singer cradling her newborn daughter and Mitch, 37, leaving hospital carrying the baby. <\/p>\n
\nThe singer \u2013 best known as a member of chart-topping pop group Girls Aloud \u2013 said her daughter arrived \u201ca couple of weeks ago\u201d at 38 weeks weighing 6.5lbs. <\/p>\n
\nShe captioned her images of the new arrival on Instagram: \u201cOur beautiful baby girl is here. We haven\u2019t stopped staring at her perfect little face or kissing her softest little head.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe arrived healthy and content a couple of weeks ago at 38 weeks weighing 6.5lbs and is thriving. It\u2019s heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she\u2019s ours.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNicola\u2019s announcement comes amid renewed public interest in Girls Aloud following the group\u2019s recent reunion tour, which paid tribute to Sarah Harding after her death from breast cancer in 2021 aged 39. <\/p>\n
\nThe singer had previously revealed she required surgery at 22 weeks pregnant and had been ordered to rest during the final trimester while appearing in West End production Hadestown.<\/p>\n
\nNicola has now become the final member of Girls Aloud to become a mother. <\/p>\n
\nCheryl Cole had son Bear with late One Direction singer Liam Payne, who died in October 2024, while Kimberley Walsh and husband Justin Scott are parents to sons Bobby, Cole and Nate. <\/p>\n

\nEarlier this year, Nicola revealed she had been forced to withdraw from her final performances as Persephone in West End musical Hadestown at London\u2019s Lyric Theatre after undergoing surgery during the pregnancy.<\/p>\n
\nNicola said on social media: \u201cSome pics I took this week.. Hasn\u2019t it been so nice to really feel spring.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019ve been under instruction not to do much since I had the surgery at 22 weeks to help keep baby in. Hitting that 34 week mark was a big relief.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI now only have a few weeks left. Safe to say, this last bit is not the easiest is it?! In one breath, it will be nice to feel more comfortable again but I will also really miss my bump and having this tiny little thing in there.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNicola first announced her pregnancy on Christmas Day, telling followers she and Mitch had \u201cbeen keeping a secret\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cMitch and I have had the most magical Christmas Day sharing the most precious news with our families.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe\u2019ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can\u2019t wait to meet our little one in the spring x.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNicola and Mitch got engaged during a holiday in the south of France in 2024, with the singer later debuting her diamond engagement ring while performing at Brighton Pride alongside her Girls Aloud bandmates. <\/p>\n
\nAccording to reports, Mitch proposed during a romantic trip abroad after the pair had been together for more than two years.<\/p>\n
\nMitch, an accountant and semi-professional footballer, previously captained Great Britain\u2019s squad at the European Maccabi Games in Israel and played for Essex side Grays Athletic. <\/p>\n
\nHe was first photographed publicly with Nicola at an Elton John concert in 2022.<\/p>\n
