\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Joe Mantegna<\/strong><\/a> is once again no longer co-hosting the 2026 National Memorial Day Concert<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 78-year-old Criminal Minds <\/em>actor was due to co-host the event on Sunday (March 24), but pulled out last minute, just as he did last year.<\/a><\/p>\n Mary McCormack<\/strong><\/a> will join in his place alongside co-host Gary Sinise<\/strong><\/a> for the event on Sunday (May 24) on PBS<\/strong><\/a> honoring service members and paying tribute to all who have given their lives in service to our nation.\u00a0<\/p>\n Joe<\/strong> had hosted the event since 2006, and pulled out last year due to a health issue.<\/p>\n \u201cI truly wish I could be there in person this year but due to unforeseen circumstances, I need to remain in Los Angeles.\u00a0 I\u2019m looking forward to joining the millions of Americans watching this Sunday\u2019s concert on PBS and continuing to do everything I can to support this important event for years to come.\u00a0 The National Memorial Day Concert<\/em>, and its mission of remembering those we\u2019ve lost, honoring those who have served, and recognizing the sacrifices made by military families is something I will always hold close to my heart,\u201d he said in a statement.<\/p>\n \n<\/center><\/p>\n \u201cWhat makes this concert so powerful is the way it tells the larger story of service and sacrifice. It reminds us of what military service asks of individuals and families, and how much gratitude we owe them. I\u2019m honored to join as co-host of this year\u2019s broadcast. It\u2019s one of the most meaningful projects I\u2019ve ever been a part of, and I wouldn\u2019t miss it for anything,\u201d Mary<\/strong> said in a statement.<\/p>\n The lineup of appearances and performers includes Noah Wyle<\/strong>, Melissa Leo<\/strong>, and Jonathan Banks<\/strong> with musical performances by Alan Jackson<\/strong>, Andy Grammer<\/strong>, Mickey Guyton<\/strong>, Jamey Johnson<\/strong>, Laura Osnes<\/strong> and Blessing Offor<\/strong> with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The concert airs live on Sunday, May 24 from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. E.T. on PBS, and is seen by our service members around the world on American Forces Network.
