David Harbour<\/a> envied his younger Stranger Things co-stars for being comfortable enough to fart while filming.<\/p>\n

David Harbour stars on the Netflix show<\/p>\n

The 51-year-old actor starred in Stranger Things, the hit sci-fi show, alongside the likes of Winona Ryder<\/a>, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Maya Hawke, and David has admitted to feeling a little envious of some of his younger co-stars.<\/p>\n

Speaking at an event in Los Angeles, David shared: “These kids were just enjoyable as hell.<\/p>\n

“A lot of kid actors that you work with are very actor-y, and part of the strength of the actors that they formed were that, at their essence, they were just kids. <\/p>\n

“So, even during takes, they would fart and do things that you just couldn’t believe that you had the relaxation to do that in front of a camera. I was like, I would dream of being able to do that and not being self-conscious in that way!”<\/p>\n

\nDavid – who played Jim Hopper in the Netflix show – relished the experience of working with his young, talented co-stars on Stranger Things.<\/p>\n

\nThe actor explained: “These were real, beautiful human beings, and they were such a joy to work with; I had a blast.<\/p>\n

\n“I look back on that first season as being a miraculous time in my life. Hopper was a very depressed individual, it was really tough to go through the acting of that, but the family that we created and the story that we were telling, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt that enriched by some work that I was doing.”<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, David previously revealed that he “can be very critical” of Stranger Things.<\/p>\n

\nThe actor confessed to having some “very strong opinions” about the TV series, despite its success.<\/p>\n

\nLooking forward to the final season of Stranger Things, David said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast: “I’m very close to the show, so I have very strong opinions. And they may not match yours if you’re a fan of the show.”<\/p>\n

\nDavid admitted that he can actually get “very mad” if he doesn’t like a particular episode.<\/p>\n

\nHe said: “I can be very critical of this show.”<\/p>\n
