\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Rachel Reid<\/strong><\/a> is teasing the next addition in her Game Changers<\/em> book series!<\/p>\n Earlier this year, the author responsible for Heated Rivalry<\/strong><\/a><\/em> announced that she is working on a seventh book, titled Unrivaled<\/em><\/a>, once again centered around fan-favorite characters Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander following 2022\u2019s The Long Game<\/em>.<\/p>\n While recently taking part in a Spotify fireside chat, Rachel<\/strong> teased what fans can expect in Unrivaled<\/em>, which is scheduled to be released on June 1, 2027.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s going to pick up basically where The Long Game<\/em> left off, so we didn\u2019t miss anything,\u201d Rachel<\/strong> said, per People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s set in 2021, so that\u2019s like something I have to keep remembering. It\u2019s their first season playing together on the same team. They\u2019re married. Everybody knows about the relationship. There\u2019s so many things that are brand new for them.\u201d<\/p>\n She went on to say that the new book recounts a \u201cwhole new kind of weird year\u201d in Shane and Ilya\u2019s lives together.<\/p>\n \u201c[It] is totally brand new for them and isn\u2019t going to be totally smooth,\u201d Rachel<\/strong> teased. \u201cWe\u2019re going to see them together a lot instead of grabbing time here and there. There\u2019s going to be some backlash.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNot everybody loves that two hockey players are married to each other on the same team, but some people really love it and I think we\u2019re going to see a lot of support for them, but also a lot of the other stuff,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s going to be fun,\u201d Rachel added. \u201cI\u2019m not going to drag Shane and Ilya through hell. That\u2019s not the point of the book.
