\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Stewart McLean<\/strong> has died at the age of 45 after being reported missing earlier this week.<\/p>\n Amid an ongoing investigation into a missing persons report, police confirmed that the actor\u2019s remains were identified roughly one day after authorities announced that Stewart<\/strong> may have been the victim of a homicide.<\/p>\n Stewart McLean<\/strong> was best known for appearing in shows including Virgin River<\/em>, Arrow<\/em>, and Travelers<\/em>.<\/p>\n On Friday (May 22), Canada\u2019s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) shared a media release with People<\/a> <\/em>confirming that Stewart<\/strong>\u2019s remains were found in the Lions Bay area.<\/p>\n The actor was last seen at his residence in the British Columbia village on Friday, May 15. Three days later, on May 18, the Squamish Royal Canadian Mounted Police (Squamish RCMP) received a missing person report.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the investigation continues to unfold, homicide investigators are working to collect and analyze evidence, review CCTV footage and conduct interviews to build a timeline of Mr. McLean<\/strong>\u2018s activities prior to May 15, 2026,\u201d IHIT Cpl. Esther Tupper<\/strong> said in a press statement.<\/p>\n The statement also noted that investigators are \u201cpursuing all available leads\u201d as authorities continue working to \u201cfind answers for the family, friends and loved ones of Mr. McLean<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n Police believe the disappearance was \u201can isolated incident.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier on Friday, the Squamish RCMP shared an update<\/a>, saying investigators were working closely to \u201cadvance the investigation\u201d after authorities confirmed they had uncovered evidence leading them to believe Stewart <\/strong>may have been the victim of a homicide.<\/p>\n We\u2019re sending our thoughts and condolences to Stewart McLean<\/strong>\u2019s loved ones during this difficult time.
