\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> has officially confirmed that he will not be attending his son Donald Trump Jr<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s wedding this weekend.<\/p>\n Page Six<\/a><\/em> previously reported that Donald Jr.<\/strong>, 48, and fiancee Bettina Anderson<\/strong><\/a> will be getting married over Memorial Day weekend in a front of a small group of family and friends at an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n On Friday (May 22), Trump<\/strong>, 79, officially confirmed that he is skipping his son\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,\u201d Trump <\/strong>wrote on Truth Social<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time,\u201d he continued. \u201cCongratulations to Don and Bettina!\u201d<\/p>\n Trump<\/strong> previously said that he wasn\u2019t sure if he would be able to attend the wedding<\/a>, telling reporters earlier this week, \u201cThis is not good timing for me.
