Prince William <\/b><\/a>is grateful for his wife Princess Kate Middleton<\/b><\/a>\u2019s continued recovery after her cancer battle.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s an amazing mum, an amazing wife and, literally, our family couldn\u2019t cope without her,\u201d William, 43, said on the Friday, May 22, broadcast of the U.K.\u2019s Heart Radio<\/i>. \u201cShe\u2019s been absolutely stunning, brilliant.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate, 44, was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer<\/a> in 2024. After taking a step back from her royal duties, the Princess of Wales underwent a preventative form of chemotherapy as treatment. Kate announced last year that she was in remission.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year,\u201d Kate wrote in a January 2025 statement<\/span><\/a>. \u201cMy heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPrince William is feeling the love \u2014 and curiosity \u2014 from royal watchers as his wife, Princess Kate Middleton, continues her fight against cancer. In the middle of his ongoing royal duties, William has been faced with questions and comments from fans, who are hoping to receive an update on his wife. Kate first underwent [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued, \u201cWe couldn\u2019t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional. It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery \u2026 As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate has steadily been returning to her regal duties<\/a>, including embarking on her first overseas trip to Reggio Emilia, Italy, earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I am] so proud,\u201d William gushed on Friday morning. \u201cShe\u2019s been amazing. She\u2019s been through so much in the last couple of years, particularly. And yeah, she\u2019d been looking forward to the Italian trip a lot. I\u2019m really glad it went really well.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to William, Kate \u201cwanted to go and do lots of research\u201d on her Italian state visit.<\/p>\n
