Season 50 of Survivor<\/strong><\/a><\/em> has come to an end and a new winner has been crowned!<\/p>\n

On Wednesday night (May 20), CBS aired the live season finale of the long-running reality competition series, and by the end of the episode, a new winner was announced.<\/p>\n

Here was the finale\u2019s synopsis: \u201cTensions rise following the exit of a particularly historic player; the Final Five immunity challenge features one of the closest finishes the show has ever seen; one castaway is crowned Sole Survivor and wins the $2 million prize.\u201d<\/p>\n

Going into the finale were Rizo Velovic<\/strong><\/a>, Jonathan Young<\/strong><\/a>, Tiffany Ervin<\/strong><\/a>, Joe Hunter<\/strong><\/a> and Aubry Bracco<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the episode, Aubry<\/strong> won the last immunity of the season and secured a spot in the Final 3 as Tiffany<\/strong> was eliminated from the competition. Aubry<\/strong> saved Joe<\/strong> in the process and sent Rizo<\/strong> and Jonathan to the fire-making challenge. Rizo<\/strong> ended up losing the challenge and secured his spot as the last juror leaving Aubrey<\/strong>, Joe<\/strong>, and Jonathan<\/strong> as the Final 3.<\/p>\n

At the final Tribal Council of the season, the jury members deliberated on who should be crowned the Sole Survivor.<\/p>\n

In the end, the winner was\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n
