Anastacia<\/a> has continued to wear her specs anyway because she’s convinced her face doesn’t look right without them.<\/p>\nShe told The Times newspaper: “Although I wore corrective glasses for most of my life, I decided to get lasered in 2005. <\/p>\n
“I wanted to know what it was like to wake up and see. Big mistake. My face is built for glasses. Look at the size of my nose! <\/p>\n
“I\u2019m back wearing glasses, even though I don\u2019t need them.”<\/p>\n
\nIn the interview, the I’m Outta Love star opened up about living in Denver, Colorado with her mother, sister and brother. Anastacia confessed she’s a “clean freak” and is obsessed with dusting and using her steam mop.<\/p>\n
\nShe also revealed she has trouble sleeping and tries to watch a “trashy series” to help her drift off every night, but she’s determined to see the positive side of her sleepless nights.<\/p>\n
\nAnastacia told the publication: “When you play a big show and there\u2019s all that adrenaline in your system, it\u2019s OK to fall asleep at crazy o\u2019clock. <\/p>\n
\n“But I have real problems getting to sleep every day. I pray the trashy series I\u2019m streaming will help me drift off. It never does. Ah, so what? <\/p>\n
\n“If I\u2019m still awake in the morning I get to see another sunrise. You always have to see the positive.”<\/p>\n
\nIt comes after the singer recently urged anyone fighting cancer to embrace the “good days”. <\/p>\n
\nThe singer – who battled breast cancer in 2003 and 2013 after being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease as a teenager – wants to “make a difference” in the lives of others by offering advice from her own health struggles over the years. <\/p>\n
\nShe told OK! magazine: “I want to help people know that even if you have cancer, Crohn’s disease … the more you let it occupy your thoughts on a regular basis, you are not living in the moment. <\/p>\n
\n“What I try to do is make a difference in other people’s lives, give them hope and faith that what they’re going through is not forever. <\/p>\n
\n“There’s ebbs and flows, just allow your good day to be OK. If the bad day comes, don’t shun it – it probably needs to happen.” <\/p>\n
\nAfter her second cancer diagnosis, the Left Outside Alone hitmaker set up the Anastacia Fund to raise money for awareness of breast cancer in young women. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: “I will do it forever.”<\/p>\n
